Hey everyone,

the Arena Viewer is currently broken due to the new arena schedule.
Please use the arena links manually until it is fixed.

Links for arenas
  • Rookie Arena link (replace the '197' in the link with the number of the season you are looking for; for 2017 arenas its 194 + the current season number)
  • Veteran Arena link (replace the '133' in the link with the number of the season you are looking for; for 2017 arenas its 131 + the current season number)
  • PvP arena link (replace the '194' in the link with the number of the season you are looking for; for 2017 arenas its 194 + the current season number)
  • Draft Arena link (replace the '410' in the link with the number of the season you are looking for; for 2017 arenas its 405 + the current season number)
  • Newbie Arena link (replace the '100' in the link with the number of the season you are looking for)
  • Event Arena link (this is a tricky one, since each event arena has its own name; you will have to find that name for yourself if we cant make a list together)
  • World exclusive bonus: Limited Arena link (replace the '24' in the link with the number of the season you are looking for)
  • World exclusive bonus 2: Master Duel link (replace the '4' in the link with the number of the season you are looking for)

View problems for certain decks
Also, devcat seem to have broken there own code too, since decks with an apostroph in their name are not viewable anymore (Coco, Emmet and Thief's Book). The workaround for that is also based on Firefox or a clone/fork:
  • mark the 'view deck'
  • right click on it and select 'View Selection Source'
  • then you will get a small pop up with the card names/links in it, which were used for the deck
Before this isnt resolved, it's not advised to start working on our Viewer update since there will probably some code changes from devcat to adress this bug anyway.

Obsolete since we removed the Arena Viewer until fixed:
If you scan the decks in the Top 10 Arena Viewer regularly, you will have noticed, that some arenas don't show anything and the others aren't scrollable anymore.

That's because of the schedule change for all arenas. The old schedule algorithm couldn't take these changes into account and therefore try to show some higher numbered arena results, that didn't happen yet.

Workarounds
How to see the results
  • just select a lower number and hit Go to see some actual results
How to scroll again
a) Use Firefox
  • use Firefox, Palemoon, Waterfox or any other Firefox fork/clone
  • right click on the top 10, you want to scroll
  • click on 'This Frame ->'
  • choose whatever you like and that will be scrollable again
What is an arena viewer exactly?
That was our old top 10 deck viewer, which doesnt work anymore since the arena schedule has changed and the coder has retired Undecided

But due to popular demand:
Newbie Arena link (switch the 100 in the link with the season number you are looking for)
Can you also add the event arena links?
I can do that, if someone provides the link information. But I dont have it, sry.
Ok, got 'the' link:
http://devcat.nexon.com/duel/us/arena/vi..._arena.2.1

But obviously they took the hard way and used the event names in the links. So if anybody can compile their internal names for each event, I can put that in the code of the upcoming tool as well.

I've submitted some links I found to google, however, it's not complete. Like someone who can find the url query of the Clash of the Five colors, and Golden Week arena, would be appreciated.

https://www.google.com/#newwindow=1&safe...us%2Farena
just added: http://devcat.nexon.com/duel/us/arena/vi..._arena.1.1

don't forget the depreciated korean arenas (no _g in query):
http://devcat.nexon.com/duel/us/arena/vi...rena.143.1
http://devcat.nexon.com/duel/us/arena/vi...rena.110.1
http://devcat.nexon.com/duel/us/arena/vi...rena.297.1
Haha, good thinking with Google...I didnt think of that Rolleyes

But even if we can find all event names, someone would permanently need to update the even names in the future. Otherwise the viewer would stop to work again.

I dont have an idea for that atm. Maybe an "add event" field in the hope, that people contribute the right names?
Good idea, you can check to see if the submitted url leads to the 404 page or not to verify that it's valid.

You don't have to always guess links, I use fiddler to intercept the current urls sent by the app by proxy with the instructions from here: https://www.xda-developers.com/network-m...nsider-it/
Yeah, I just use catlog to get the links. But thats not something the everyday user does of course^^
And if we bring in new widgets, they shouldnt stop working if the coder stops showing up here.
